Speed and Agility Testing
Using Quattro Jump Force Plates and Zybek Laser Timers, we can evaluate the metrics of an athlete's counter movement jump, squat jump, 5-10-5 agility, sprint, and more. These metrics are key indicators for how an athlete will perform in whatever sport they play. Tracking these metrics over time will also provide insight into the effectiveness of a training program or can serve as benchmark numbers for an athlete to strive towards while rehabilitating an injury. The counter movement jump measures the power of the lower extremities by recording the maximum height reached on the force plate. Sprinting with laser timers measures the speed of an athlete moving in one direction starting from a still position. A 5-10-5 pro agility test measures the ability of an athlete to quickly change directions in the same plane while running.
